In 2006, Homes of Hope India:

  • Provided 30 Mattresses – Kochi
  • Donated a new jeep – Kochi
  • Installed computers and an LCD projector – Kochi
  • Awarded sponsorships and scholorships for primary and secondary education–Kochi
  • Sent first volunteers to India

In 2007, Homes of Hope India:

  • Purchased and donated marching band equipment & uniforms – Kochi
  • Expanded computer lab – Kochi
  • Shipped 50,000 books
  • Installed a solar-powered water purifier WaterHope – Kochi
  • Awarded sponsorships and scholarships – Kochi
  • Sent volunteers
  • Installed playground equipment – Kochi

In 2008, Homes of Hope India:

  • Installed biofuel tank and incinerator – Kochi
  • Funded the building of rooftop shed – Kochi
  • Upgraded playground equipment – Kochi
  • Shipped 50,000 books
  • Completed and dedicated the 1st orphanage building– Kochi
  • Awarded sponsorships and scholarships – Kochi
  • Provided 3 cows and a cow shed – Hassan
  • Collected and distributed medicine
  • Provided bunk beds and mattresses – Hassan

In 2009, Homes of Hope India:

  • Purchased and installed a diesel generator – Nirmal Jyothi
  • Installed solar power photovoltaic water purification unit (“Lynch Family Foundation”) – Guntur
  • Shipped 50,000 books
  • Installed a computer hub – Secunderabad
  • Provided a battery back-up systems for frequent power outages (Christ Episcopal – Cody,WY) – Nirmal Jyothi
  • Awarded sponsorships and scholarships to provide access to education for every girl in Home of Hope
  • Supported micro lending circles in the community surrounding the first Home of Hope
  • Provided an LCD projector for training center – Kochi
  • Installed a computer language lab – Kochi
  • Supported an artist in residence to teach and to paint a mural – Kochi
  • Cleared ground for a football (soccer) pitch– Kochi
  • Collected and distributed 200 refurbished computers

  • Provided shelving for books for all houses
  • Installed hardware and soft ware for a high speed internet connection – Mittappally

  • Paid architect fees for 2nd orphanage at Secunderabad

  • Outfitted a marching band with uniforms and instruments – Secunderabad
  • Broke ground for construction of 2nd orphanage – Secunderabad
  • Installed 2 Bore Wells, with  water purifiers (“WaterHope”) – Nandigama
  • Funded the Sr. Shyby Memorial Scholarship 
  • Coordinated and supported Surfing Safari II – Kochi
  • Purchased and installed 10 envirofit stoves 
  • Installed a language lab–Trichur/Thiruthiparambu
  • Collected and distributed medicines and medical supplies for 500+ girls and school children

In 2012, Homes of Hope India:

  • Provided construction funding for #2 orphanage at Secunderabad and #3 orphanage at Maradiyur
  • Installed two 25KV and one 10KV diesel generators for schools at Nandigama, Secunderabad, Kottiyam
  • Secured funding for and installed eleven solar-powered water purifiers for schools and orphanages (Rotary rant)
  • Completed installation at dental clinic; purchased new suction machine
  • Received medical grants for critical surgeries and longterm therapy (First Hand Foundation grants)
  • Created play area and purchased playground equipment, Kottiyam
  • Purchased and donated a school bus, Palluruthy
  • Provided funding for Bangalore orphanage repairs

  • Installed batteries for photovoltaic system; invertors for emergency electric backup

  • Installed Water Purifiers for 14 sites (10 from Rotary grant)
  • Installed water harvesting, tank, pumps for Mittappally
  • Produced the Thinking Schools video and website www.thinkingschoolsacademy.org
  • Funded and coordinated the Thinking Schools Summits at Bangalore and Secunderabad
  • Completed construction funding for #5 orphanage at Kokrajhar

In 2015, Homes of Hope:

  • Completed funding for #5 orphanage at Kokrajhar
  • Sent funds to all orphanages to buy brown rice
  • Purchased sewing machines to lift women out of poverty
  • Achieved LEED Certification for #2 Secunderabad : 1st orphanage in the world to do so
  • Provided musical instruments and instructors for Bangalore orphanage
  • Created “Our Lady of Homes of Hope” statues for all orphanages
  • Funded science lab at Hassan from gifts for couple’s wedding
  • Supported 6th Annual Surfing Safari
  • Created videos for Thinking Schools Academy training and website
  • Trained 500 more Thinking Schools teachers (total: 800)
  • Funded new roof over washing area at Hassan
  • Funded emergency medical needs
  • Launched funding campaign for #6 Tangla and #7 Bangalore orphanages

In 2016, Homes of Hope:

  • Purchased bus for rural school at Maram, Assam
  • Painted Home of Hope #1 at Kochi
  • Completed fundraising for #6 orphanage at Tangla, Assam
  • Launched and completed fundraising campaign for #7 orphanage at Bangalore
  • Purchased school bus for Hassan school
  • Provided equipment and software for computer lab at Hassan school
  • Secured funding for restorative surgeries and other critical medinal needs from First Hand Foundation
  • Provided 40 scholarships for higher education

  • Drilled bore well for #7 orphanage site in Bangalore
