 With our limited means, we are able provide our ever-growing number of girls with basic food and shelter -- meanwhile showering them with the love and attention so lacking in their lives. But, their future?
This is where we need your help.
Poor girls in India are too often considered "second class" citizens. An orphan girl faces even more difficulties as she has no family. That is why education is crucial to the future of our girls. With a good education, a girl not only becomes employable, but becomes more desirable when it comes time to marry.
Our girls are eager learners. Currently, our girls are attending the Junior College in the State of Andhra Pradesh, and Professional Training in Bangalore. They do well in their studies, in sports, win trophies and certificates and other prizes. They are proving that they have the abilities -- all they needed was the opportunity.
Please help with a scholarship. You will have the pleasure of following the progress of a specific girl, who will periodically communicate with you The scholarship can be in your name, your entire family, or in the name of your church or civic organization. Isn't this a wonderful opportunity?
